Rachel Ray Named Highest Earning Chef at $18 Million

Celebrity chef Rachel Ray has been named the highest earning chef in the world by Forbes magazine.  The magazine is reporting that Ray makes a cool $18 million a year from her cooking duties.

Ray, who gained popularity in 2001 with her first Food Network show, ‘30 Minute Meals’, is now the host of four shows on the network, producer of ‘Every Day with Rachael Ray’ magazine and the host of her own talk show needed every bit of that to beat out Wolfgang Puck.

Wolfgang Puck came in a close second with making $16 million a year according to Forbes magazine, largely due to his Los Angeles restaurant Spago, and his other fine-dining brands and cutlery.
