Laurence Fishburne To Join CSI
CSI fans worldwide have been on edge since it was reported that star character William Peterson was leaving the hit series.
But, to the joy of many diehard CSI fanatics, Laurence Fishburne is rumored to be in negotiations with the show to replace William in the upcoming season.
The search for a new CSI actor has been shrouded in secrecy, but sources say Fishburne is being courted to play a new character, described as a doctor/scientist outsider to the CSI unit who has the same genetic profile as a serial killer but hasn’t previously acted on any homicidal impulses. Sounds like it could get very interesting.
Other actors that are rumored to be contenders for the role includ John Malkovich and Kurt Russell.
