Bernie Mac Is Alive, But In Critical Condition
With all the rumors going around about Bernie Mac dying, I thought I would help clear the air.
Bernie Mac’s publicist has spent much of last night trying to end rumors that the 50-year-old comedian has died. He was checked into a Chicago hospital with pneumonia Friday night, but she says he’s still alive and responding well to treatment.
A source close to Mac’s family, however, describes his condition as “very, very critical.”
Bernie Mac was in “very, very critical” condition late Saturday at a Chicago hospital, according to a Chicago Sun-Times source who is friends the comedian’s family.
As far as the Bernie Mac is dead rumors, his publicists said, “It is a very horrible rumor. It is absolutely untrue. Nothing has changed from yesterday.”
Either way, bad news for Bernie and we wish him a speedy recovery.
