Oliver Stone’s “W” Movie Trailer

The “W” movie trailer was leaked onto the Internet this week, causing a lot of controversy and attention. According to reports, the trailer was released by the movie’s famed director Oliver Stone to help increase the hype surrounding the film.

Based on the “W” trailer, the film is a much lighter version of movies and documentaries geared toward Bush and his adminstration. The film is a chronicle on the life and presidency of George W. Bush.

The trailer shows Bush, played by Josh Brolin, in his college years as he appears to be a heavy drinker, partygoer and a screw-up.

During the most memorable scene in the trailer, the elder Bush (James Cromwell) lectures W over his partying ways with the classic line “Who do you think you are, a Kennedy? You’re a Bush. Act like one.”

  1. Did you see the CNN segment about people’s reactions to the leaked preview? CNN put the headline of the video on a t-shirt - ‘W’ depicts Bush as frat-boy partier - http://tinyurl.com/5nlphv

Ironically, Josh Brolin is a rather liberal democrat. Can you image how funny it would be if he gets photographed wearing this shirt? It would be like Paris Hilton holding the bible. I feel that if enough people blog about him wearing the shirt it will actually happen.
