Is Amy Winehouse ever going to learn her lesson? Or will she be six feet under before finally realizing what amazing talent she wasted?
Amy Winehouse was discharged from hospital this morning after receiving emergency treatment for a adverse reaction to ‘medication’.
A spokeswoman for University College Hospital, where the singer spent the night, said she was ushered out via a private exit shortly after 9.45am.
The spokeswoman said: ‘Our doctors decided to keep her overnight for observation. She had a comfortable night and will be discharged today.’
“Amy is fine and she is on her way home,” says her U.K. rep, Chris Goodman.
“She was taking a new [medication] as part of her anti-drug treatment program,” says Goodman. “And it was an adverse reaction to that new drug. You have to try different things but unfortunately this was not the right one.”
What I do not get is why the medical profession feels in order to get someone off of one drug, they need to prescribe them to 6 other drugs in the meantime. Is that really the best way to care for a patient??? It really makes you question the system.
