Vanity Fair McCain’s “New Yorker” Cover

If you found last week’s real cover of The New Yorker magazine offensive because of the way it depicted Barack and Michelle Obama, then you may also take issue with this fake cover of Vanity Fair.

Talk about a huge publicity stunt for the magazine. I know there revenue’s are currently on the decline, but is posting a controversial image of John McCain and his wife Cindy really going to spark the interest you are looking for???

Just to make is super clear, it’s not an actual Vanity Fair cover. It’s “just” an illustration for a blog post.

The portrait on the wall appears to be President Bush. The document burning in the fireplace is the Constitution. John McCain, who turns 72 soon, is using a walker and has a bandage on his head. His wife Cindy, who overcame an addiction to painkillers, is holding pill bottles.

Let us know your thoughts, is the picture offensive to you???
