Janet Jackson CBS Indecency Case Gets Thrown Out By US Court

It has been reported that CBS has been let off on Janet Jackson’s “wardrobe malfunction” during the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show.  The station was being fined $550,000 for the mistake.

The three-judge panel of the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the Federal Communications Commission “acted arbitrarily and capriciously” in issuing the fine for the fleeting image of nudity.
