Jay-Z Facing $88 Million Lawsuit
Jay-Z is facing an $88 million lawsuit from a rapper who claims the star stole his songs.
Right, I’m just sure Jay-Z needs to snoop around for some losers music and steal it.
Mitchell Rose filed suit in New York last month alleging he met the star - real name Shawn Carter - at a boxing match in 2001, and handed over a CD of his songs.
He claims Jay-Z later used the music without crediting or compensating Rose.
Rose, is seeking $88 million in damages for “loss of opportunity and punitive damages for mental distress.”
Get real. Another person out trying to make an easy buck.
