How to turn a gay movie even gayerl?? Make it into opera!
It is being reported that Brokeback Mountain is coming to an opera house near you in 2013.
The New York City Opera commissioned Charles Wuorinen to compose a show based on the 1997 short story — which was turned into the 2005 Oscar-winning movie starring Heath Ledger (who died in January) and Jake Gyllenhaal.
