Patrick Swayze Responding Well To Cancer Treatment
The former “Dirty Dancing” star Patrick Swayze is reportedly responding very well to treatment for pancreatic cancer, he told People magazine.
Swayze, 55, who announced in March that he had been diagnosed with cancer, is receiving treatment at Stanford University Medical Center near San Francisco.
“I am continuing treatment at Stanford and the great news is I continue to respond well,” Swayze said in a statement to the magazine.
The cancer treatment evidently is not slowing Patrick down too much. People reported Swayze spent the holiday weekend taking in a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game and shopping for jewelry for his wife, Lisa.
