Speculation is quickly lighting up as to why Katie Couric would come across town from CBS to do something for NBC again. Is she returning to Today, or is this some personal announcement that seems better placed on Today than on her adopted network at CBS?

It might simply be that Katie Couric is just going back for a little retrospective thing or maybe it’s because she’s trying to spread the word about colon cancer screening.
