Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Buy $60 Million South France Estate
It is being reported that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have acquired a $60 million 1,000-acre estate in South France. The castle is apparently called Chateau Miraval, located in a tiny village called Brignol in the Var.
The property allegedly has 35 bedrooms, swimming pool, billiards room, indoor pool, gyms, sauna and jacuzzi and a huge banquet hall, E! reports. The castle is very intimate, with a driveway three miles long through woods and vineyards with dramatic glimpses of the distant ‘Gros sillon’ mountain through the trees.
The magnificent cascading stone-walled terraces are now replanted with thirteen different varieties of olives. Water seems to be everywhere flowing; from fountains; along aquaducts; through hidden tunnels; into the moat and filling the lake.
“Brad and Angelina are thrilled, they love the place and have already been furniture shopping to fill the place as it’s massive,” an insider told E! Online. “They’ve already spent almost another million on furniture and the whole family can’t wait to move in.”
“No one will ever be able to get pictures of them relaxing at home, it’s just impossible,” says the source.
Talk about having more money than you know what to do with!
