Bagwell denies ties to Kelly Blair, steroids
It is being reported that former Houston Astros first baseman Jeff Bagwell had ties with Kelly Blair, a Pasadena gym owner who allegedly supplied steroids and HGH to some high-profile customers.
Does this really surprise anyone??
According to MLB.com’s Alyson Footer, Bagwell denied claims that the owner of 1-on-1 Elite Personal Fitness gave him performance-enhancing drubs.
“I’ve never met the guy, I have no idea who he is, I’ve never been to his gym,” Bagwell said during a phone interview with MLB.com.
New York Daily News have reported that Blair bragged that he gave steroids to former Major Leaguer Roger Clemens, current New York Yankee and Deer Park resident Andy Pettitte and to Bagwell.
In March, Blair denied the claims to federal investigators.
The Daily News cited unnamed sources in its Sunday edition, reporting that Blair “bragged to friends and clients who worked out at his Pasadena gym that he supplied performance-enhancing drugs to professional athletes, including Bagwell, Andy Pettitte and Roger Clemens.”
According to the report, Blair, according to a source, “regaled visitors to his Pasadena gym with stories about providing drugs” to the three, who were teammates as Astros in 2004 and 2005.
Another MLB players amazing career will now be tarnished forever. Sad.
