Kristi Yamaguchi Crowned Winner Of Dancing With The Stars (DWTS)
After five seasons of men winning Dancing with the Stars, Kristi Yamaguchi broke the curse and raised the much deserved mirror-ball trophy for all the ladies.
“I love it! I guess ‘k’ is a good initial to have,” Yamaguchi said to host Tom Bergeron moments after she and partner Mark Ballas after it was announced they had won this year’s Dancing With The Stars.
Jason Taylor and his partner Edyta Sliwinska were the runner-ups, while finalist Cristian de la Fuente and his partner Cheryl Burke finished in third place.
Taylor was a very gracious loser, telling host Samantha Harris, “Kristi very much deserves it.”
