Charles Barkley Owes The Wynn $400,000
The Wynn Las Vegas Casino casino is alleging that Charles Barkley has not paid off a $400,000 gambling debt that is owed to the casino.
The casino is insisting they have yet to receive a penny from the ex-NBA star and have filed a civil charge against Barkley that would result in a felony if left unpaid.
Barkley said this while on TV on Monday, “I’ve got to stop gambling… I screwed up and I didn’t pay them in a significant amount of time. Could they have handled it differently? Yes. But it was my fault. I have no money problems whatsoever. Nobody’s coming after me for money.”
Bosses at the Wynn insist they have yet to be paid, saying, “We have no evidence to suggest that he has made any payments. We have neither heard from Mr. Barkley nor received restitution from him.”
