Raven-Symone Is All Grown Up — Or So She Says
Even with being able to add movie producer to Raven-Symone’s long list of accomplishments, people still have the perception that the “That’s So Raven” star is still a little girl.
But the former television star is trying to prove she’s graduated from the child phenom role, and has more to offer.
“I just want people to see that I’m not a little kid anymore,” the 22-year-old said in a recent interview while on a rehearsal break for her nationwide tour that was supposed to kick off this spring.
Despite the tour setback, Raven-Symone has just released her new self-titled album last month with featured songs “Double Dutch Bus” and “Love Me Or Leave Me.”
Ebony magazine recently dubbed her the “The $400 Million Woman,” referring to the amount of money “That’s So Raven” has made.
“I have a lot to say,” Raven-Symone said. “I love to perform and touch my audience. When you have a movie or TV show, you are not able to touch them the same way. I don’t think music will never be apart from my life.”
