Simon Cowell Promotes David Cook
American Idol judge Simon Cowell is on the campaign trail to make David Cook the next winner of American Idol.
He does make money of these winners you know..
Simon tells Blender Magazine, “I think he’s done more to deserve it over the eleven weeks. He’s taken more risks, he’s done things with certain songs that have been more interesting. If I’m gonna base it on who has done the best performances over the live shows, David Cook deserves to win.”
Cowell also said this to say about Jason Castro, “He just gave up - I get frustrated over that.”
When asked about David Archuleta, Simon said that he has no personality.
Syesha was not mentioned so I guess she gets no love from the judge??
Mr. Cowell in America we WAIT FOR THE FINAL VOTES before we announce the WINNER. You have been very unfair to David Archuleta. I have watched American Idol for many years, and never have seen you promote a contestant who is not declared a WINNER YET. SHAME ON YOU. But again you did want Blake Lewis to win last year. And SORRY he is not doing TOO WELL. Good thing he did not win. You must LOUD ROCKERS with bad hairdos. But yet the winner who made money for you and were the best, are the top vocalist and clean cut contestants. Hmmm Carrie Underwood Vs. Bo Bice. And the multimilion dollar winner was Carrie. Thank God for the voters. This year we need David Archuleta to win. And please with the arrogance already, some of us are not teens or grandmas. VOTE VOTE VOTE for David Archuleta and if not a winner, then he will be a bigger star that the Loud David Cook.
Speaking of not having a real personality, Simon Cowell is the master of such. Hey Simon, I heard you could not even stand on stage without getting stage fright. Imagine if we were the ones judging your personality and real talent? Anybody can be arrogant and make millions in our country, but enough with the bashing of a contestant that has done nothing but sing his heart out week after week and NOT ONCE DID he become disrespectful to any of the judges. You must like Cook, I am sure you can both relate to being full of arrogance and yourself. BOOHOO!
David Archuleta deserves to win not David Cook. I believe he had more BAD performances (you said so yourself than David ARchuleta). You called David Archuleta predictable last week. You darn right. I call his talent CONSISTENT AND PREDICTABLY EXCELLENT every single week. At least he did not have to get the sympathy brother votes, wear white coats and scream out all his songs. YUK YUK YUK. David Archuleta deserves to win. He will represent American very well. We don’t need more Loud Freaks in this country. Don’t they have enough of those in the UK already?
