Marisa Miller Claims #1 on Maxim Hot 100 List
Marisa Miller is having a year that aspiring models dream about happening someday. Marisa first landed the highly acclaimed Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover in February, she’s beginning her seventh year as a Victoria’s Secret model, and now she’s the first to debut No. 1 on the Maxim Hot 100 List.
Talk about banking in!
Models are “constantly competing for campaigns and magazine covers as the industry really changes and becomes celebrity-saturated,” the California native says. “So to get that kind of notoriety now is really, really incredible.”
Maxim editorial director James Kaminsky confirmed Marisa Miller’s selection by saying, “She represents the return of the great American supermodel, and she’s veering towards ubiquity,” he says. “But in a really great way.”
