Sex and the City Stars To Boycott London Premiere

The cast of Sex and the City is so disappointed that the premiere of their movie is not in New York, that they might boycott the premiere this evening in London.

According to NOW, Sarah Jessica Parker, 43, Kim Cattrall, 51, Cynthia Nixon, 42, and Kristin Davis, 43, are said to be outraged that the screening won’t be held in East Coast city, where the movie is set.

‘It’s ludicrous. New York was the home of the TV series and it’s the home of the motion picture,’ a senior member of production staff says.

‘It’s a slur to people in Manhattan and Brooklyn, whose lives were disrupted for months during the shooting, not to give them the honour of staging the premiere.’

Show bosses are said to be very concerned about the possible no-show.

‘Not everyone’s going to be there,’ a spokesman for New Line Cinema distributors tells the Daily Star Sunday.

‘We’re hoping the major names will be there, but there’s no guarantees. It’s a long haul for crew members and those with smaller roles, though we’re sure there will be a decent turn out.’
