KUSI Reporter Rodney ‘Rod’ Luck Arrested

Award-winning San Diego television reporter Rodney “Rod” Luck of KUSI NEWS was arrested Friday in the Bay Area on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence/battery.

The South San Francisco Police Department said Luck punched a 42-year-old woman in the mouth while the couple was in their hotel near the San Francisco International Airport on Friday.

The woman had a visible injury but was not hospitalized, police said.

Luck was booked into the Redwood City jail and was released on his own recognizance.

  1. Fire that SOB! He should lose his job like everyone else! Would he have been released if he hadnt had money? Not bloody likely!

  2. I had the privilege (ha, joke!) of meeting this individual in 2006 when I was with my bf at the time while he was promoting his charity horse. I was greeted with an instant insult right off the bat. I shrugged it off and so did my bf. Come later, we meet again when my bf was doing his co-hosting with Rod for the Opening Day at Del Mar morning show. Rod was a spit-fire monster and was insulting everyone in his visual vicinity. Rod and that ex bf of mine have comparable similarities (hon, can I get some ice for my bruises?)…..go figure, they’re buddies~
