BREAKING: Nicollette Sheridan Leaves ‘Desperate Housewives’!
Last night’s episode of “Desperate Housewives” saw the departure of Nicollette Sheridan when her character, Edie, packed up and abruptly left Wisteria Lane after a confrontation with all four of the show’s leading ladies.
Is this a good move or bad move for the floundering show?
“Yes, Edie’s gone,” show creator Marc Cherry tells the Associated Press.
He then added: “She won’t be back for a few years.”
Some speculate that the series could flash-forward ala “Lost,” which would bring Edie back sooner rather than later.
“I only address one rumor at a time,” Cherry replied.
