The husband of a second-grade teacher in Southington says his wife has resigned after controversy over her appearance on a satellite radio shock jock’s show, as reported by the Associated Press.
According to the Web site of “The Howard Stern Show,” Marie Jarry has resigned after pictures of her in a bikini taken on the show caused some controversy.
Aaron Jarry says on the show that his wife had no choice and submitted her resignation earlier this week. Jarry says his wife felt pressure from the Thalberg School community when the pictures were released.
“I can’t believe she would go on TV and do that when she is a second-grade teacher,” said parent Dean LaPoint. “It just doesn’t make sense.”
The couple were $5,000 winners on the show of Stern’s “Ugliest Man, Hottest Wife” contest May 1.

So, what’s next? Techers are not allowed to go to a beach? It’s a fricken bikini! It’s not like she was perfroming some type of act! If I were her and her husband, I would fight them tooth and nail. Sounds like a bunch of busy-body soccer moms that are jealous that this woman has a nice body.
