Simon Cowell Receives Royal Treatment
American Idol judge and creator Simon Cowell has reached the status of royalty in his home country of Britain.
Simon has requested that he receives the privilege of being able to park outside of every theater that holds auditions for his television show. The reason, Simon says he does not want to be mobbed by adoring fans everywhere he goes.
A source tells The Sun, “He hates walking anywhere and the idea if being mobbed fills him with fear. So we contacted all the relevant councils and asked them if they could make a special dispensation. It wasn’t always easy as only the (British royal) Queen (Elizabeth II) and senior members of the royal family get to park wherever they like.”
