Madonna’s Sex Drive Drove Her Latest Album
With not wanting to be known for ’sex’ when she retires, Madonna sure does talk about it a lot in interviews.
But hey, sex sells!
Madonna had this to say about her new song with Pharrell William:
She said: “‘Candy Shop’ was the first song I wrote with Pharrell. It is one
of my favourites on the record. It personifies the mood I was in while
making the record – lots of innuendo. You can get so many things in a candy
shop!”Meanwhile, Madonna - who is married to British film director Guy Ritchie -
has also revealed she found it a challenge working with Justin Timberlake
and super producer Timbaland on her new single ‘4 Minutes’.The 49-year-old star said: “I’ve never been double teamed before in the
studio, that’s just to start off with that. I usually only collaborate with
one person at a time and there usually is only one sort of person that I
have to volley with.“So to be suddenly in the studio with two very big personalities who have
very strong opinions it was a challenge, it was different, it was new.”
Madonna’s ‘4 Minutes’ topped the UK singles charts yesterday (20.04.08) -
securing her 13th UK number one song.
